The rector of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic), Rubén Calderón, attended last week the annual Gala of the Asociación Empresarial de Hostelería de Cantabria (Hospitality Business Association of Cantabria, AEHC), which took place at the Palacio de Exposiciones de Santander (Santander Exhibition Center).
The Universidad Europea del Atlántico and the Asociación Empresarial de Hostelería de Cantabria have had a collaboration agreement for years that underlines the link and interest aroused in the academic institution on issues related to nutrition. Not surprisingly, the academic offer includes the degrees in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Science and Technology, Agro-Food Engineering, and the degree in Gastronomy, in particular.
In this way, UNEATLANTICO was present at an event in which different awards were presented to companies in the community in recognition of their trajectory within the hotel sector.
