The Government Delegation in Cantabria, through the program “The Administration near you” went twice to the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) in order to bring the services of the General State Administration (AGE) closer to the entire UNEATLANTICO community.
This initiative sought to facilitate access to public services, especially to those people who find it difficult to travel to offices in person or to access the digital channels of the administration.
During the visits, an informative talk open to the entire university community was offered, in which key guidance was provided on the use of digital tools such as electronic signatures, as well as on various procedures that can be carried out online.
Also, officials from the Government Delegation were at the main entrance of the university providing individualized advice to all those who needed to resolve specific doubts or start procedures directly. From obtaining the digital certificate to guidance on procedures related to foreigners or Social Security.
Finally, the community of the European University of the Atlantic is grateful for the support provided by the Government Delegation, which has brought us closer to an equitable access to public services, generating a positive and beneficial impact on the university community and, by extension, on the citizenship as a whole.
