Sandra Sumalla, lecturer at UNEATLANTICO, attends the meeting of the Cantabrian Academy of Gastronomy

Sandra Sumalla, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), attends the first meeting of the year of the Cantabrian Academy of Gastronomy, held at the new restaurant Taberna del Herrero in Santander.

During the meeting, ACG members discussed the events to be held throughout the year, including the presentation of various awards and the appointment of new members. The awards include the Best Chef, Best Sommelier and Best Traditional Cuisine Restaurant awards. The event was accompanied by an exclusive menu prepared by the restaurant’s chef, Kike Pérez.

It is worth noting that UNEATLANTICO maintains a close relationship with the ACG; Rubén Calderón, rector of the university, together with Dean Sumalla, attended the 6th edition of the awards ceremony of the Cantabrian Academy of Gastronomy. In addition, the University’s Assembly Hall hosted the 5th ACG awards ceremony in December 2023.
