The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER), through the Social Action Area, and in collaboration with the International University of Cuanza (UNIC), the International Ibero-American University of Mexico (UNINI México), the International University Foundation of Colombia (UNINCOL), the International Ibero-American University (UNIB) and the University of La Romana (UNIROMANA), are organising the third edition of the International Solidarity Campaign to collect toys for the CUIN foundation.
UNEATLANTICO and FUNIBER, through their offices in more than 30 countries, and in collaboration with universities, seek to mobilise the educational community, including students, scholarship holders, collaborators, teachers and family members, to donate toys or school supplies that will be given to children in socially vulnerable situations.
Our goal is to encourage solidarity and community volunteering to reinforce everyone’s commitment to society.
Toys are tools that contribute to children’s cognitive, physical, emotional and social development. As established in children’s rights, play and recreation are recognised as fundamental to the growth of healthy children.
How to participate?
The toy collection will take place between 27 November and 12 December 2025.
UNEATLANTICO and FUNIBER are making their headquarters available so that those interested in participating can donate toys or school supplies (books, backpacks, notebooks, pens, etc.). The universities in the network are also organising collection points.
Toys must be new or used (if in good condition), preferably educational, environmentally friendly and non-violent. Find out here what toys you can donate.
Each headquarters and university will deliver the donations to a local institution that provides social care for vulnerable children.
