The student community of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) has carried out the election process for delegates and subdelegates for the 2023-2024 academic year. The student representatives, Eloísa Bassett, Mario Villoria, and José Rasilla present their proposals for this academic year through a video.
Eloísa Basset, a fourth-year Nicaraguan student in the Food Science and Technology degree program (CTA), will represent all the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences of UNEATLANTICO. Likewise, the student community has elected her as the university delegate for the current academic year. For Eloísa, she will take this opportunity to “continue with all the projects that have been worked on at the university over the years and help create a better environment among all the students.”
Likewise, Mario Villoria, who is in his third year of the degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), will represent for the second consecutive year his fellow ADE students and all the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. Last year, Villoria was the University delegate. During this academic year, he will be the subdelegate of students of UNEATLANTICO to continue giving impetus to the projects he proposed in the 2022-2023 academic year. For his part, Mario expects to see “a greater participation of students in the external activities organized by the university.”
José Manuel Rasilla, who is studying for his degree in Computer Engineering (II), will be the spokesman for all the students of the Higher Polytechnic School during this year. For José Manuel, his goal is to “enhance the growth of the UNEATLANTICO community with events such as DevDays, with more interaction than other years to grow as professionals.”
