Psychology students present a scientific exhibition within the framework of the Psychophysiology class

The Exhibition Hall of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) became the stage for a scientific exhibition framed in the subject Psychophysiology, taught by the teacher Carla Álvarez.

The exhibition consisted of a series of stands with scientific posters designed and presented by the students themselves. Each one of them addressed, in a visual and didactic way, different topics developed during the four-month period, with the aim of bringing the contents of the subject both to their classmates and to the rest of the university community.

The event, of an open nature, allowed the participation of students and teachers from different disciplines, who had the opportunity to tour the projects, interact with their creators and deepen their knowledge about the relationship between mind and human body.

The subject of Psychophysiology studies the interrelation between psychological processes and the physiological functions of the organism. Through this approach, students work on the identification of the neuroendocrine bases of motivational, cognitive and emotional processes, as well as on the interpretation of the biological bases of behavior from an evolutionary perspective.

During the course, various active methodologies are applied such as lectures, case resolution, cooperative learning and autonomous work, encouraging deep understanding and critical thinking.

With initiatives like this, UNEATLANTICO reinforces its commitment to quality education, providing its students with practical experiences that enhance their academic and professional development.
