The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) was present at the closing ceremony of the Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy and Professional Practice 2024-2025, held in Las Caldas (Oviedo). The Vice-Rector for Academic Planning and Faculty, Silvia Aparicio Obregón, participated in the presidential table and addressed the attendees, emphasising the value of collaboration and shared commitment:

“The word today is connection. The diploma award ceremony for the UNEATLANTICO Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy represents the culmination of a shared effort: that of the students, teachers and families, working together every step of the way.”

This master’s degree, developed by the Professional Association of Economists of Asturias through its training school, the Management Development Centre (CDD), is a double degree: Master’s Degree in Continuing Education in Tax Consultancy and Professional Practice from the European University of the Atlantic and approved by the Register of Tax Advisors (REAF), a specialised body of the General Council of Economists of Spain.

During the ceremony, diplomas were awarded to more than fifty students who successfully completed this training, a degree specific to the European University of the Atlantic. Participants in the 2024 Income Tax Campaign, linked to the Specialist Course in Personal Income Tax and Wealth Tax, were also recognised.

With a consolidated track record, the face-to-face version of the programme celebrates its 32nd year of training tax advisors in the 2025/2026 edition, providing participants with the technical and practical knowledge necessary to operate effectively in the complex tax environment.

The event featured the participation of prominent figures such as Abel Fernández Martínez, dean-president of the Professional Association of Economists of Asturias; and Pablo Coca, general director of CTIC, who closed the day with the presentation ‘Artificial Intelligence: Revolution or Exaggeration?’, a reflection on the impact of generative AI in the professional field.

The event symbolises the end of a training period and the beginning of new professional challenges. The European University of the Atlantic congratulates all the graduates and reiterates its commitment to practical, up-to-date training geared towards the reality of the labour market.
