The European University Alliance DIVERSE held a meeting at the GE Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology, located in the city of Târgu Mureș, Romania. Representing the Universidad Europea del Atlantico (European University of the Atlantic) (UNEATLANTICO), attended by Juan Luis Vidal, professor and director of the Office of International Relations (ORI) and Leticia Díaz, member of the same office.
During the meeting, it was stressed that the European Commission’s European Universities Initiative will bring together all 73 partnerships, including the eight awarded with the Seal of Excellence, into a single, unified platform. This space will further strengthen collaboration and visibility at the European level.
Throughout the sessions, representatives from DIVERSE member universities discussed various initiatives, research and innovations and new approaches to micro-credentials. They also discussed educational projects such as the Erasmus Mundus Master’s programme in International Business and Geopolitics, international mobility and strategies to improve teaching and learning in networks. Time was also devoted to monitoring and strengthening the alliance’s institutional visibility and communication.
The participation of UNEATLANTICO in this meeting underlines the university’s commitment to European collaboration in higher education and its active role within the DIVERSE Alliance.
