The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) is organizing the 4th International Climate Action Conference (CIACC) in collaboration with the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) and the Business and Climate Foundation (FEC). This conference is a response to the urgent need to address the problems leading to the climate crisis.
Once again this year, the International Climate Action Conference will be held on the UNEATLANTICO campus in Santander, Cantabria, from July 1 to 3.
The conference will kick off with an opening day at the iconic Gran Casino Sardinero, which will include an exclusive concert by the Santander Municipal Band and a welcome dinner. Throughout the conference, keynote presentations and roundtable discussions will be held, complemented by various networking opportunities designed to foster the exchange of ideas among attendees.
Over the three days, topics will include the restoration of nature and biodiversity, the dual materiality matrix and its application in sustainability reporting, how climate change affects people’s health, nature-based solutions and their industrial applications, hydrogen and its applications in industry, and energy efficiency and sustainable construction.
The International Climate Action Congress (CIACC) is intended as a fundamental space to promote concrete initiatives that contribute to a sustainable and resilient future in the face of the climate crisis. The 4th edition is sponsored by Central Lechera Asturiana SAT, Ecodualba Gestión, EURECAT: Technological Center of Catalonia, Gullón, VALORIA: Recycling Center, and Xcalibur: Smart Mapping.
As in previous years, it will feature prominent speakers, experts on national and international topics.
