The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic UNEATLANTICO) has organized a welcome event for international students moving into the UNEATLANTICO Residence Hall at the start of the February 2026 semester.
The students arrived in Santander from different countries and, in many cases, were accompanied by their families, who wanted to share this important and significant moment with them as they began their university studies.
With the aim of helping them settle in and offering them an initial introduction, the University’s Mentoring Group prepared a special welcome for the new students.
The activity consisted of a guided tour of the University Residence facilities. They visited areas such as the gym, laundry room, common areas, and recreation room. During the visit, the mentors provided detailed information about how the residence works and the internal rules and regulations, answering questions and offering initial guidance to the students.
In this way, the University has welcomed more than a hundred new international students who will be studying for a university degree at UNEATLANTICO and residing in the University Residence Hall this academic year. This first contact allowed the students to familiarize themselves with their new residential environment and begin their university experience in a friendly and safe atmosphere.
Finally, all new students have been invited to participate in Welcome Day, organized by the Mentoring Group, which will be held on Thursday, February 5, at 4:15 p.m. in the University’s exhibition hall. The purpose of this event is to promote integration among students and facilitate their understanding of university services.
