The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European Atlantic University, UNEATLANTICO) was represented by Dr. Juan Luis Martín, Vice-Rector of Research and Transfer of Knowledge and director of the Degree in Psychology (PSI) and the Master’s in Psychology (MUPGS). Dr. Martín participated in the Autumn 2025 meeting, organized by the Conference of Deans and Deans of Psychology of Spanish Universities (CDPUE). The meeting was held on November 27 at the Aranjuez Campus of the King Juan Carlos University.
The event brought together academic leaders from the country’s main Faculties of Psychology, with the aim of analyzing the current challenges of the discipline and coordinating actions to strengthen university training. The conference included the presentation of reports, the approval of minutes, academic update sessions and spaces for reflection on the present and future of studies in psychology.
One of the central points of the programme was the analysis of the work of the Commission for the Accreditation of Psychological Studies (CAEP) and the renewal of its members. Also discussed was the report on the possible health empowerment of the Degree in Psychology, an issue of great relevance both to the profession and to the academic structure of the training programmes. The afternoon session also included reports from the General Council of Psychology and the elaboration of conclusions that will mark the strategic lines of the conference.
The presence of Dr. Juan Luis Martín allowed UNEATLANTICO to closely follow the main academic discussions related to the development of psychology in Spain, reinforcing its commitment to quality, innovation and cooperation between university institutions.
