UNEATLANTICO to host the twentieth Investor Round of Fundación Innovación y Desarrollo

The Innovation and Development Foundation (FIDBAN), promoted by the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), organizes its 20th Investor Round, in which the startups Inhibitec Anticuerpos and Vamos Rural present their projects on May 30.Inhibitec Anticuerpos, a pioneering biotech startup with a therapy against chronic autoimmune/inflammatory diseases in pre-clinical phase, presents its project to investors in the 20th Investor Round organized by FIDBAN. It should be noted that its technology is protected by a patent owned by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Cantabria (UC). Also noteworthy is the fact that the therapy offered by Inhibitec Anticuerpos is based on an innovative monoclonal antibody that acts on BAMBI (BMP and activin membrane inhibitor). This patented dual approach aims to address the problem that affects 40% of patients who do not respond adequately to current biological treatments.

For its part, and as the second project to be showcased during the 20th round of FIDBAN, Vamos Rural, a digital platform that connects rural experiences with global tourists in Cantabria and Asturias, will detail on its broad portfolio of activities guided by sustainability and respect for the natural environment and local communities. Travelers can find in Vamos Rural, founded by José Manuel Colsa, offers customized to their tastes, advice on destinations of interest and the ability to plan their vacations in a complete and simple way. For those looking for an even more personalized experience, Vamos Rural offers an experience generator based on artificial intelligence. This tool allows users to create a unique itinerary according to their preferences, interests and budget.

Elena Ansótegui, founder and CEO of Wypo, will open the investor round. She will be interviewed by the content director of Cadena SER in Cantabria, Fermín Mier.
