UNEATLANTICO students carry out the process of choosing class delegates and sub-delegates

Students of the Universidad Europea del Atlantico  (European University of the Atlantic)  (UNEATLANTICO) have exercised their right to vote in the ballot boxes set up for the election of delegates and sub-delegates of the 15 official degrees offered by the institution.

This electoral process, which is held annually, is in line with the provisions of Royal Decree 1791/2010 of 30 December, which regulates the Statute of the University Student, and is carried out in accordance with the Rules of Organization and Operation of UNEATLANTICO.

All university students have the right to vote and express their opinion on decisions which influence their academic life. This right is essential, as the elected representatives will be those who communicate their colleagues’ concerns and ideas to the authorities responsible for making key decisions within the university.

After electing the representatives of each class, the selection of faculty delegates will be carried out, and then voting will take place to elect the representatives of the entire University. Once this process is completed, the Secretary General of UNEATLANTICO, Jesús Peña , will present the results to the center’s leaders, who will be responsible for communicating them to the entire student community. The election of representatives is essential to strengthen a more committed and participatory student population.
