A representation of the students of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), accompanied by the director of the Office of Cooperation and Social Action (OCAS), Laura Saiz, have delivered the proceeds obtained in the staging of the play of the Aula de Teatro. The proceeds amounted to 1,386 euros.
The presentation took place in the Board Room of UNEATLANTICO. For this meeting, Laura Saiz, director of the Office of Social Action (OCAS), Eloisa Basset, student delegate of UNEATLANTICO, and Jordy Rojals, student member of the Aula de Teatro, met with representatives of Cruz Roja Cantabria for the delivery of the diploma with the proceeds of the event.
The Aula de Teatro group is made up of a total of thirteen students from different UNEATLANTICO careers and is directed by the professional actress Lorena Guemes, a member of the Javier Cifrián Film School, with which the University collaborates.
The university promotes, through the Aula de Teatro, a theatrical play every year. On this occasion, the students performed the play “Así nos va”. The play was written by the students of the Theater Classroom and consists of different scenes of humorous character that tell the facets and problems that occur in daily life, as well as issues of social interest in which a part of the population is represented exposing those events. The play also included audiovisual pieces recorded by the students that were used as a complement.
This initiative has been carried out with the impulse of the Student Services, the Office of Cooperation and Social Action (OCAS) and, of course, the selfless and supportive work of the students of the UNEATLANTICO community.
