The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and Mutua Montañesa have signed an educational cooperation agreement to develop external academic placements for university students. This agreement will enable students on any of the degree programmes offered by the university to undertake placements at Mutua Montañesa’s centres.
The aim of the agreement is to facilitate the acquisition of professional skills that prepare students to carry out activities related to their degree, thereby improving their employability and fostering their entrepreneurial spirit.
The work placements will be carried out under the supervision of a tutor appointed by Mutua Montañesa and another by the university, who will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the students’ performance. Furthermore, during the work placement period, students must comply with the organisation’s internal regulations, particularly regarding working hours and the confidentiality of the data and processes to which they have access.
Through this initiative, UNEATLANTICO continues to expand its network of strategic partnerships in Cantabria, consolidating its commitment to practical, innovative training aligned with the demands of the labour market, for the benefit of the academic and professional development of its university community.
