UNEATLANTICO promotes the new Master’s Degree in International Relations

The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) and the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) present the new Master in International Relations, aimed at training professionals with global vision and strategic skills.


The Master has a flexible duration of 12 to 24 months and is divided into two modules. The first includes 15 subjects covering essential topics in international relations, such as history, geopolitics, international law, international cooperation, social movements, human rights, international trade, global economics, climate change and political science. The second module focuses on a philosophical research paper, using methodologies of philosophical materialism.

Program structure

With an adaptable duration of 12 to 24 months, the master’s program is composed of two main modules. The first module includes 15 subjects covering a wide range of topics related to international relations, including: history, geopolitics, international law, international cooperation, social movements, global economics, climate change and political science, to name a few. The second phase focuses on philosophical research work, using the methodologies of philosophical materialism.

Academic Direction

The master’s degree is under the direction of Dr. (c) Ligia María Lee Guandique, PhD candidate in Projects at the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México. With a master’s degree in Political Science and a specialization in International Relations from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Dr. Lee Guandique has an extensive teaching career in Guatemala, Colombia, Spain and Mexico. She is the International Academic Coordinator in Political Science, Humanities and Communication at FUNIBER.
