The rector of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), Ruben Calderon, along with Helena Garay, head of the Cultural Extension area of the university, and Laura Saiz, Director of Institutional Relations have attended the opening session of the Santander Film Festival, which is taking place in Santander, Spain.
The Santander Film Festival, which will be held from September 13 to 19, has been organized by Centro Botín and Morena Films. It also has the collaboration of the Government of Cantabria and the City Council.
Among the variety of activities to be carried out, the Assembly Hall of UNEATLANTICO, will host four master classes in which students of the degrees in Audiovisual Communication, Advertising and Public Relations and Journalism will have the opportunity to share their concerns with prominent guests such as: Antonio Saura, Laura Basombrío, Anahí Farfán, Ruth Somalo, Gabriela Sandoval and Mela Márquez. As future communication professionals, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the day-to-day work of producers, also relating it to what they have learned in the classroom. These classes will be held from September 16 to 19 from 12:15 to 14:00.
It should also be noted that the classes will be free and open to all students of the university, as well as anyone interested in the subject until full capacity is reached.
The European University of the Atlantic aims to create and develop technique, culture and the arts through research and study, to ensure the training and perfectionism of students. That is why this collaboration allows both parties to learn from each other.
