The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) together with the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), Cameroon branch, participates in the Great Schools Fair held at the Collège Vogt in the city of Yaoundé.
The event, which brought together around two hundred educational institutions, provided an opportunity for interaction with students in the sixth and seventh grades of secondary education.
During the fair, the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (UNEATLANTICO) has highlighted its academic profile, which has a significant 30% of international students. This aspect highlights the attractiveness of the university for those motivated to study abroad.
On the other hand, the director of FUNIBER’s office in Cameroon, Barbara Tonlio, played a key role in the event, contributing to the successful presentation of the educational programs. Likewise, the Foundation has highlighted the relevance of the scholarships aimed at Cameroonian students, providing financial support for their accommodation in the residence of the UNEATLANTICO campus, an initiative that strengthens the commitment of both institutions with access to higher education.
In an effort to overcome language barriers, scholarships are offered to students from Cameroon to study Spanish during the first semester of the year. The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (UNEATLANTICO) is an accredited center by the Cervantes Institute (Instituto Cervantes), a specialized school in the teaching of Spanish, facilitating linguistic immersion and paving the way for a successful academic experience.
In addition, the Foundation is preparing an intensive Spanish course scheduled for July, an opportunity for those interested in fast and effective language training. For its part, the presence of UNEATLANTICO in this Fair is another step to continue offering an education with international features that will help the university’s graduates to face a more globalized labor market.
