UNEATLANTICO participates in the fair “Study in Spain” organised by SEPIE

The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) and the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) have participated in the “Study in Spain” fair, organised by the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE) and held in Colombia and Peru.

SEPIE organises the fair with the aim of publicising study opportunities in Spain, promoting the educational offer of the universities, highlighting the benefits offered by each educational institution, as well as the various scholarship opportunities available. This initiative is possible thanks to the collaboration agreements that SEPIE has established, which facilitates student and teacher mobility.

UNEATLANTICO, an educational institution that is part of the university network in which FUNIBER participates, has been present at the fair that took place at the Spanish Cultural and Educational Centre Reyes Católicos, located in Bogota, Colombia. The event was inaugurated by Joaquín de Arístegui, Spanish Ambassador to the country, and was attended by approximately 1,500 students. The participants were interested in obtaining information about the opportunity to continue their academic training. During the event, details of the FUNIBER Scholarship Programme for access to bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, doctorates and specialisations were shared, as well as the requirements to study on campus at the UNEATLANTICO campus in Santander, Spain.

UNEATLANTICO participates in the “Study in Spain” fair organised by FUNIBER and UNEATLANTICO in Lima, Peru. On this occasion, there were more than 3,000 participants, who showed interest in the programmes offered by FUNIBER and UNEATLANTICO.

The day before the fair held in Peru, a meeting between Spanish and Peruvian universities was held at the Spanish Centre, where the Spanish ambassador to Peru, Alejandro Abellán García de Diego, also participated. The universities attending were the Ricardo Palma University, the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, the Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya, the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina and the Universidad San Martín de Porres.

The participation of FUNIBER and UNEATLANTICO highlighted their commitments to educational internationalisation and the creation of academic opportunities. Institutional collaboration with SEPIE strengthens the ties between Latin America and Spain, facilitating access to study programmes abroad.
