The Universidad Europea del Atlantico (UNEATLANTICO), based in Peru, organised a ceremony to award diplomas to students who, through its Scholarship Programme, successfully completed their master’s and doctoral studies at universities in its international academic network.
The event was held at the Colegio de Ingenieros de Perú in Lima. On this occasion, 30 students received their diplomas after completing online academic programmes offered by the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (UNEATLANTICO), in Spain, and the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (UNINI), in Mexico.
The table of honour was presided over by Fernando Parra del Carpio, technical secretary of the Council of Supervision of Foundations, accompanied by Jaime Zea Mostajo, executive director of FUNIBER Peru, and Pilar Vargas, academic coordinator of the Foundation in the country.
In their speech, the FUNIBER authorities highlighted the effort and dedication of the graduates, emphasising the positive impact that higher education has both on their careers and on the development of their communities. Fatima Saldonid expressed a word of thanks on behalf of the graduates, underlining the support provided by FUNIBER. The invaluable support of the families, who accompanied the graduates during each stage of their education, was also acknowledged. This support, combined with the commitment and effort of the students, was fundamental for the achievement of their academic goals.
FUNIBER reaffirms its commitment to facilitate access to distance postgraduate programmes, adapted to the needs and schedules of the students. With initiatives like this, the foundation promotes higher education as an essential tool for professional and personal development, contributing to the progress of the communities where it is present.
