UNEATLANTICO is organizing the webinar “Reducing student dropout rates: experiences from the WITH_YOU project.”

On September 30 at 5:00 p.m. (Spain), the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) will host the webinar “Reducing student dropout rates: experiences from the WITH_YOU project,” which will be presented by Dr. Kilian Tutusaus, Dr. Jorge Crespo, and Dr. Javier Ozón.

The event is being held in collaboration with the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Ibero-American University Foundation, FUNIBER), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de Puerto Rico (International Ibero-American University of Puerto Rico, UNIB), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Ibero-American University of Mexico, UNINI Mexico), the Fundación Universitaria Internacional de Colombia (International University Foundation of Colombia, UNINCOL), the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza, UNIC), and the Universidad de La Romana (University of La Romana, UNIROMANA).

The event will feature: Jorge Crespo, coordinator of UNEATLANTICO’s Postgraduate Programs and professor in the fields of mathematics and statistics; Kilian Tutusaus, director of educational technology; and Javier Ozón, professor and researcher at the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (Polytechnic University of Catalonia, UPC).

All of them are participating in the project “Dynamic modeling technologies for students and digital assistants to improve results in e-learning platforms” WITH_YOU (2022-2025), led by Editores y Consultores Especializados (ECE), in which UNEATLANTICO and the UPC are also participating.

The project, which will come to an end this October, aims to create a digital platform that will improve the monitoring of university students enrolled in training programs through virtual learning environments.

The conference is free and open to anyone interested in the subject, and will be broadcast live in every country where FUNIBER has a presence. The broadcast schedule can be found at this link.

In addition to this event, Jorge Crespo will participate in the 18th Annual International Conference on Education, Research, and Innovation ICERI2025, to be held November 10-12 in Seville, Spain, to present the results of the project.

The initiative is part of the 2021-2023 State Research Plan within the 2021 call for Public-Private Partnership Projects.
