UNEATLANTICO is organizing a series of conferences in collaboration with the Official College of Psychology of Cantabria

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and the Official College of Psychology of Cantabria (COP Cantabria) organize an annual series of conferences aimed at students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (PSI) and the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology with the aim of bringing them closer to their professional future.

This series of talks is aimed at students who are about to finish their studies, with a view to bringing them closer to both their professional future and the Professional Association of Psychology. Specifically, these talks are aimed at students in the 2nd and 4th years of the Degree in Psychology.

The first talk was given by Javier Lastra, dean of the Professional Association, and Nelly Cabrera, secretary general of the COP. Lastra spoke about the Association in general, offering students an introduction to what it is, what it does, its structure, its functions, and what students must do to become members. He also informed students in their final year that they have the opportunity to become pre-members at a reduced rate, which would give them access to the services provided by the association and encourage them to become members in the future.

For his part, Cabrera spoke about all the career opportunities available to psychology graduates. He discussed all the specializations within the field and all the possibilities that students will be able to choose from in the future, from clinical psychology and sports psychology to legal psychology.

Through these talks, UNEATLANTICO reaffirms its commitment to quality education and to providing its students with the tools they need for a successful professional future.
