In this workshop the students carried out dynamic activities that encouraged to connect theory with current food practice, with activities such as DNA observation up to sugar analysis in energy drinks.

From the Higher Polytechnic School with degrees in Computer Engineering (II), Industrial Organization Engineering (IOI) and Agricultural and Food Industries Engineering (IIAA) the workshops “Engineer for a day: The exciting world of bridges” taught by Jorge Crespo, academic director of the degree in Industrial Organization Engineering (IOI) and “Breaking the illusion: hacking an AI”, by the Dean of the Polytechnic School and director of the degree in Computer Engineering, Manuel Masías.

In Crespo’s workshop, the students did a practical activity in which they had to manage their time in order to achieve the construction of infrastructure by creating a small-scale bridge using noodles. While, in the workshop of Masías, the students carried out an exercise where they tested the limits of modern language by using artificial intelligence to dissect AI thinking with their own thought.
