UNEATLANTICO highlights COPCA’s recognition of Dr Juan Luis Martín Ayala for his 25 years of membership

The community of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) wishes to highlight the tribute paid to Dr Juan Luis Martín, Vice-Rector for Research and Knowledge Transfer and Academic Director of the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at UNEATLANTICO, to mark his 25 years’ membership of the Official College of Psychologists of Cantabria (COPCA).

The awards ceremony took place as part of the celebrations for Psychology Day, at an event held on 6 March at the Hotel Santemar. Although this occasion is traditionally celebrated on 24 February, coinciding with the feast day of the profession’s patron saint, Juan Huarte de San Juan, the date was changed to make it easier for professionals in the sector to attend.

During the evening, in addition to recognising those marking 25 and 35 years of membership, new members were welcomed and a space was created for shared reflection on the current state of psychology in Cantabria.

The recognition of Dr Juan Luis Martín Ayala highlights his professional career and his academic and scientific commitment, both in the university sphere and in the development of psychology from an applied perspective.

UNEATLANTICO emphasises the importance of initiatives such as this, which promote recognition of professional achievement, commitment to the discipline and contribution to social well-being.
