The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) and the Innovation and Development Foundation (FIDBAN) have consolidated their collaboration with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce by signing an agreement. This agreement seeks to strengthen their alliance in the field of business, international relations and the promotion of entrepreneurial culture.
UNEATLANTICO and FUNIBER, as active members of FIDBAN’s Board of Trustees, have been working to generate opportunities to promote economic development and entrepreneurship. Likewise, FIDBAN has sought to establish a framework for collaboration in the Hispanic American entrepreneurial ecosystem through its investor rounds.
This agreement follows a collaboration process initiated in March, when representatives of the three institutions met in Madrid with the President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Mr. José Luis Bonet. At this meeting, the strengthening of FIDBAN’s international network was highlighted as a key step to expand investment and cooperation opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship. The meeting was attended by the President of FUNIBER, Mr. Santos Gracia; the Vice-Rector for Academic Organisation and UNEATLANTICO teaching staff, Ms. Silvia Aparicio; the Director of Institutional Relations of FUNIBER, Mr. Álvaro Durántez; and the Director of FIDBAN, Mr. Diego Lainz.
Through this alliance, UNEATLANTICO, FUNIBER and FIDBAN reaffirm their commitment to the promotion of entrepreneurial culture and the dissemination of initiatives that generate new business opportunities. This agreement underlines the importance of investment rounds, facilitating cooperation between investors and entrepreneurs, and contributing to the strengthening of an international network that connects innovative projects with the necessary resources for their development.
