Students from the Journalism (PER), Audiovisual Communication (CA) and Advertising and Public Relations (PRP) degrees at the Universidad Europea del Atlantico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) are participating in the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) at the Algebra Bernays University in Zagreb, Croatia.
The University of Algebra Bernays has hosted various collaboration programs with European universities. On this occasion, UNEATLANTICO students took part in programs entitled “Creativity in Communication and Presentation Skills” and “Mastering the Art of Public Speaking – Stand Out in Front of and Behind the TV Camera,” where they had the opportunity to delve into advanced communication and presentation techniques.
Students in the creativity-focused program learned through practical workshops how to present creatively and persuasively. On the last day of the course, they gave a final presentation in which they had to put all the knowledge they had acquired into practice to present the city of Zagreb to different types of audiences.
On the other hand, those who participated in the public speaking program honed their skills in managing stress during presentations, both in auditoriums and in front of television cameras. They also developed skills in nonverbal communication and speech structure, enabling them to persuade their audience.
This program has not only allowed students to broaden their knowledge, but also to interact with students and professionals from different countries, enriching their academic and practical training in an international environment.
