The European Atlantic University (UNEATLANTICO) held on 13 October for the first time the «Vive tu Campus Fair», in which different extracurricular university activities were presented to students, with the aim of motivating them and further encouraging their participation in these initiatives.
The event, organized by the UNEATLANTICO Alumni Service, consisted of the installation of different stands on floor 0 of the university, each dedicated to a specific activity and represented by the students who make up them.
The following groups of activities were represented:
- Debate League: organized by Luis Prado, UNEATLANTICO teacher.
- Book club: organized by the UNEATLANTICO Library. Contact e-mail: biblioteca@uneatlantico.es
- GeekAtlantico: organized by university students to discuss topics of interest within the entertainment world. Contact e-mail: geekatlantico@uneatlantico.es
- Theatre Classroom: organized by Lorena Güelles, teacher of the School of Cinema and TV.
- Volunteering: organized by the Office of Cooperation and Social Action (OCAS) of UNEATLANTICO
- Volleyball, basketball, futsal and pickleball sports groups: organized by the Physical Activity and Sports Service (SAFD) of UNEATLANTICO.
This fair allowed students to learn about the various proposals offered by the university and encouraged them to register for those that draw their attention. In addition to informing them that by going to the Student Service they have the possibility of creating their own club with their own theme.
With this activity UNEATLANTICO reaffirms its commitment to the integral training of its students, actively encouraging them to participate in extracurricular activities and be part of university life. Promoting a dynamic, inclusive and participatory environment.
