UNEATLANTICO celebrates five graduation ceremonies with the participation of students, families and teachers

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) will hold its graduation ceremonies for the 2024-2025 academic year on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 June. The events will take place in the university’s Assembly Hall and will be attended by graduates, their families, friends, teachers and academic authorities.

Over the two days, there will be five ceremonies covering the fourteen degrees and two master’s degrees offered by the institution, as well as a distance learning postgraduate qualification. In addition, family members of international students are expected to travel from various countries to share this special moment.

On Friday 20 June, at 11:30 am, the first ceremony will take place, dedicated to students of the degrees in Primary Education (EP), Applied Languages (LA) and Translation and Interpreting (TI). That same afternoon, at 5:00 p.m., the second ceremony will be held, at which students graduating with degrees in Food Science and Technology (CTA), Computer Engineering (II), Agricultural and Food Industry Engineering (IIAA), Human Nutrition and Dietetics (NHD) and Industrial Organisation Engineering (IOI), as well as the distance learning postgraduate degree and the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching.

On Saturday, 21 June, three more events will be held. The day will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the graduation ceremony for the degree in Psychology (PSI) and the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology. At 12:30 p.m., it will be the turn of the students of Business Administration and Management (ADE), Audiovisual Communication (CA), Advertising and Public Relations (PRP), and Journalism (PER). Finally, at 5:00 p.m., the graduation cycle will close with the students of the degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (CAFYD).

As every year, all the events will feature the Cantabria Lyric Choir, accompanied by Rector Rubén Calderón and all the teachers and academic directors of each degree programme. In addition, they can be viewed via live broadcasts on the UNEATLANTICO YouTube channel.

The UNEATLANTICO graduation ceremonies for the 2024-2025 academic year represent an emotional end to this stage of life for students from fourteen undergraduate programmes, postgraduate programmes and two master’s programmes, who will celebrate this important academic achievement together with their loved ones. The university reaffirms its commitment to providing students with a comprehensive education in an atmosphere of recognition, community and institutional tradition.
