UNEATLANTICO celebrates a graduation ceremony for students from Mexico

The European Atlantic University (UNEATLANTICO) recently held a graduation ceremony in Mexico City for students who have successfully completed their studies in the university network of the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER). 

The event was a space to recognize the effort and dedication of the graduates, who completed master’s and doctoral programs at UNEATLANTICO and the International Ibero-American University of Mexico(UNINI México), focusing on different areas of knowledge, strengthening their academic and professional profile. The ceremony was chaired by Dr. Luis Alonso Dzul López, executive director of FUNIBER Mexico, together with Mtra. María Isabel Bernés Patrón, general secretary of UNINI Mexico.

On this occasion, Dr. Rubén Calderón, rector of UNEATLANTICO, and Dr. Carol Morales, rector of the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (UNIB), addressed the students in a virtual way, highlighting the commitment of the graduates and made a call to continue reaching new goals in the professional field.

As a special guest was Dr. Juan Vicente Pérez Hernández, Education Counsellor of the Embassy of Spain in Mexico, whose presence symbolized the ties of academic and cultural cooperation between both countries.

On behalf of the graduates, Miguel Ángel Sánchez Cárdenas, graduate of the Master’s in Health Psychology, expressed a word of gratitude to UNEATLANTICO, UNINI and FUNIBER highlighting the support received through the Scholarship Program that facilitated their training. His speech reflected the motivation and enthusiasm of students to continue contributing their knowledge to social and professional development in their communities.

The event, held in the Mexican capital, reaffirmed the commitment of UNEATLANTICO and FUNIBER to quality higher education and the strengthening of the FUNIBER International University Network.
