Dr Miguel López Coronado, director of the doctoral school, and Dr Elizabeth Caro Montero, coordinator of one of the doctoral programmes, represented the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) at the 13th Conference of Directors of Doctoral Schools (CDED), held at the University of the Balearic Islands.
The Conference of Doctoral School Directors held its 13th edition at the University of the Balearic Islands, located in Palma de Mallorca. This conference was created as a space for collaboration between the doctoral schools of public and private universities, and each year they meet with the aim of exchanging experiences and knowledge. This year was the fourth time that UNEATLANTICO has attended the CDED.
Coronado and Caro had the opportunity to exchange experiences with members of other schools and learn about updates to doctoral procedures in Spain and other developments. This year, the programme focused particularly on scientific integrity and the use of AI in research.
The UNEATLANTICO Doctoral School has four doctoral programmes and is in the process of adding two more. The doctorates currently available are the Doctorate in Design and Technology Applied to Business, the Doctorate in Engineering and Project Management, the Doctorate in Physical Activity and Sport: Risks and Benefits, and finally the Doctorate in Food Science and Human Nutrition.
