UNEATLANTICO and the Parliament of Cantabria sign a collaboration agreement that will facilitate internships for students

The President of the Parliament of Cantabria, María José González Revuelta, and Rubén Calderón, Rector of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), have signed a collaboration agreement between the two institutions that will allow UNEATLANTICO students to carry out work experience in the Parliament.

The agreement involves the creation of an educational cooperation programme, which will run throughout the academic year, for academic internships so that UNEATLANTICO students can develop the knowledge acquired in the classroom.

The President of the Parliament said that this agreement ‘allows students from the European University of the Atlantic to get to know the Parliament and to develop and expand their knowledge here, so that the agreement gives both parties a plus’.

For his part, the Rector of UNEATLANTICO said that ‘for us it is a pleasure. We are always looking to improve the employability of students. With this signature, opportunities open up especially for students of Information Sciences, Computer Engineering or Business Administration and Management’.

This agreement highlights the close relationship between the European University of the Atlantic and the Parliament of Cantabria.

In this sense, the University recalls other recent collaborations such as the appearance in the Parliament of Cantabria on the Youth Law by Calderón, as well as the participation of UNEATLANTICO students in the Youth Dialogue Europe 2025 hosted by the Parliament.
