The European Atlantic University (UNEATLANTICO) and the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), sign an inter-institutional agreement with the Fielding College of the city of Sucre, Bolivia.
The agreement was signed with the presence of the director general of the Fielding College, Ing. José Mariano Serrado, and the executive director of FUNIBER Bolivia, Lic. Flor María Mariscal Ortuño. The alliance seeks to strengthen the educational opportunities of students, teachers and administrative staff at Fielding College, promoting the democratization of access to higher education and generating greater opportunities for training both in-person and distance learning.
The agreement provides for the organisation of information sessions on the FUNIBER Fellowship Programme addressed to teachers, tutors and administrative staff of the school, so that they can guide students in international academic training opportunities. It is also planned to present the proposal for UNEATLANTICO scholarships for baccalaureate students interested in moving to Spain with the aim of pursuing undergraduate studies at the Santander campus.
In this sense, the executive director of FUNIBER Bolivia, Flor María Mariscal Ortuño, highlighted that the Foundation, through its extensive experience in graduate programs and its consolidated International University Network, Works to overcome economic and geographical barriers that limit access to quality education. With a presence in more than 35 countries, FUNIBER promotes distance learning and scholarships that allow Spanish-speaking and Portuguese-speaking students from the Americas, Europe and Africa to access undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs offered by internationally recognized universities.
The consolidation of this agreement reflects FUNIBER Bolivia’s effort to democratize higher education, Ensuring that the talent does not find limits to develop and contributing to more young Bolivians can project themselves academically and professionally in international scenarios. With this agreement, FUNIBER, UNEATLANTICO and the Fielding College reaffirm their shared commitment to promote academic excellence and expand training opportunities for the benefit of new generations seeking to build a future based on knowledge and self-improvement.
