The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Ibero-American University Foundation, FUNIBER) have joined Learn Africa, a programme promoted by the Women for Africa Foundation, by offering a 100% scholarship for African women wishing to pursue postgraduate studies.
This initiative forms part of the collaboration agreement recently signed between the two institutions, with the aim of expanding higher education opportunities for women on the African continent within a particularly demanding and changing international context.
The scholarship offered by FUNIBER enables students to undertake the Master’s Degree in Health Management, awarded by the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) in Spain, via an online format. Furthermore, the programme can be undertaken in Spanish, Portuguese or French, a feature that enhances the accessibility and scope of the call for applications for candidates from different countries and with varying linguistic backgrounds.
Learn Africa, the postgraduate scholarship programme aimed exclusively at African women, continues to establish itself as one of Mujeres por África’s flagship initiatives, thanks to its ability to make a difference by providing access to education, professional development and the promotion of women’s leadership. In this new edition, the call for applications takes a significant step forward by offering more than 100 scholarships, including 28 continuation scholarships for beneficiaries who are already part of the programme, alongside new opportunities in various fields of specialisation.
The Learn Africa 2026 call for applications also focuses on strengthening partnerships with leading academic institutions, which helps to diversify the range of courses on offer and broaden the programme’s reach. In this context, the inclusion of UNEATLANTICO represents a contribution focused on strategic areas, particularly in the field of health, aligned with the programme’s evolution and the need to promote highly qualified professionals who can contribute to the development of their communities.
Full details regarding requirements, conditions, coverage and the application process are available on the programme’s website. The deadline for submitting applications is 19 April 2026 at 23:59 (Madrid time). The call for applications can be viewed via the following links:
