The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and the FORUM Mental Health Foundation (FFSM) have signed an agreement to work together on a degree program offered by FFSM.
The collaborative agreement aims to strengthen the good relationship between the two institutions as well as to join efforts to carry out exchanges of teaching staff, mobilities of researchers and professionals, and collaboration between specialists in the areas of interest. Likewise, both entities are committed to working closely to promote the creation and organization of training activities such as seminars, courses, conferences, and workshops.
The agreement was signed at the UNEATLANTICO campus by the Rector, Rubén Calderón, and the President of the FORUM Mental Health Foundation, Francisco Fernández Rodríguez.
This agreement highlights the vital importance of mental health. In this way, UNEATLANTICO seeks to continue supporting institutions and initiatives that promote mental health. The university is committed to active research and study through its curricula such as the Degree in Psychology as well as the Master in General Health Psychology.
About FORUM Mental Health Foundation
The FORUM Mental Health Foundation was created in 2017 with the aim of providing comprehensive care to people with addictions and with the objective of studying, researching, as well as preventing and eradicating addictions as well as the problems that these addictions entail in the personal, family, health, and social environment. In this line, the FFSM seeks to promote academic training aimed at the social and labor integration of the beneficiary group while raising awareness of this problem among the general population.
