The (Universidad Europea del Atlantico) (European Atlantic University) (UNEATLANTICO) in collaboration with the Foundation for Innovation and Development (FIDBAN)participates in the IV Edition of Bárymont Impulsa, an event that brought together more than 1200 people to share knowledge, inspiration and experiences on entrepreneurship and innovation.
The meeting was attended by Diego Lainz, director of FIDBAN and teacher of UNEATLANTICO, who spoke at the round table «Stories of entrepreneurs».
During his speech, Lainz shared his experience in driving entrepreneurial projects from FIDBAN, a platform that connects entrepreneurs and investors internationally. Stressed the importance of strategic advice and guidance as key elements for increasing the chances of success of emerging projects. He also highlighted the collaboration between university, business and institutions as an effective model for promoting sustainable entrepreneurship.
The round table, moderated by Adela Sánchez (CEOE-CEPYME Cantabria), also included the participation of Pedro García (CEO of Obsession Surf), Andrea Pérez (director of the Entrepreneurship Area of the University of Cantabria) and Mery Sánchez (singer and director of La Fábrica de la Voz), who gave their personal testimonies on the challenges and achievements involved in undertaking in different sectors.
In addition to the participation of FIDBAN, the event featured presentations by experts such as Ana Fernández-Laviada, president of the Spanish Entrepreneurship Observatory, who presented the latest data from the GEM 2025 report, offering a realistic view of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Spain. Representatives of the Bárymont Group also spoke, addressing key issues such as financial management, the myths of entrepreneurship and the personal freedom that this career path can offer.
The conference was presented by Luis Larrodera, TV presenter, and had the institutional participation of the Councilor of Employment, Entrepreneurship and Business Development of the City of Santander, Chabela Gómez-Barreda.
