The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European Atlantic University, UNEATLANTICO) and the Centro Social Bellavista – Julio Blanco have signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at promoting practical training and the development of creative skills among young students.
The agreement was signed by the rector of the university, Rubén Calderón, and the pedagogical director of the educational center, Silvia Mier. Through this partnership, Julio Blanco’s Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) students will have access to the cutting-edge facilities of the UNEATLANTICO campus for the development of their academic projects.
One of the key points of the agreement focuses on the subject of Spanish language and literature. Students of the Bellavista Social Center will be able to use UNEATLANTICO’s television set to produce and record “Julio Blanco TV”, a program that will be broadcast on the center’s YouTube channel.
This experience will allow students to immerse themselves in the real audiovisual production process, using professional tools linked to the degrees of Audiovisual Communication (CA) and Journalism (PER).
This alliance reinforces UNEATLANTICO’s policy of opening its doors to the educational establishments in Cantabria, with the aim of helping to awaken vocations and facilitate a first contact with the university environment.
