The UNEATLANTICO Sports Service organizes a volleyball workshop

The Physical Activity and Sport Service (SAFD) of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) recently organized a volleyball workshop at its sports facilities, reinforcing its commitment to the promotion of sport and the integral development of its university community.

The activity was directed by Jorge Carrasco Zamora, player of CDV Textil Santanderina. The workshop attracted many students interested in honing their skills and deepening their knowledge of volleyball. Far from being a purely recreational meeting, the session was set up with a detailed vision, covering both individual technique and team strategy.

The participants had the opportunity to work and acquire both essential knowledge on the technical and tactical aspects of sport as the optimal positioning on the playing field, the importance of communication during matches, the different attack and defence systems and exercises to improve coordination.

During the day, Carrasco highlighted the importance of these works and emphasized that they are essential for those interested to learn and improve their sports skills in a suitable environment.

Finally, it should be noted that with this type of initiative, UNEATLANTICO underlines its commitment to the integral training of its students. The SAFD promotes proposals that seek to provide the university community with an environment where they can carry out physical and sporting activities.
