The Theater Classroom the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (UNEATLANTICO)began its new season on Thursday, November 6. Under the direction of Lorena Güemes, it is organized in conjunction with the Cantabria Film and TV School led by Javier Cifrián.
During the first session, students showed enthusiasm and commitment, encouraged to participate in this artistic experience in which they were able to meet people with similar interests and learn about this art form.
Participation in the UNEATLANTICO Theater Classroom offers students the opportunity to develop skills in the world of acting, encourages creativity, and allows them to manage their emotions and express themselves authentically. Students meet on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., once a week during the first semester, and starting in the second semester, they begin planning and creating their play, which will be presented in the university auditorium.
Last year, the theater group premiered the play “El último trago” (The Last Drink). The cast, made up of students, performed a comedy set in an exclusive bar and composed of several independent scenes. This new cycle promises to continue that line of success, promoting talent and collaboration between artistic disciplines.
Registration remains open until December and is available to all university students. Those interested in taking part in this activity and immersing themselves in this world full of creativity and dynamism can contact aula.teatro@uneatlantico.es or the student services department.
