The European University of the Atlantic has officially announced that the exams corresponding to the second quarter of the 2019-2020 academic year will be held face-to-face between July 6th and 17th.
All exams will be carried out under the safety measures established by the health authorities to avoid any risk.
In this sense, a safe distance between students will be enforced, with the exams arranged in four daily shifts in time slots of 8:30, 11:30, 14:30 and 17:30. These time slots will also include periods reserved for disinfecting the classrooms in accordance with health safety recommendations.
On the other hand, the defense of the Final Degree Projects (FDP) will be carried out the week beginning July 20th, for those 4th year students able to do so according to the corresponding requirements.
On the other hand, once the four phases of the de-escalation process are completed, which date has been set for June 21st, the European University of the Atlantic plans to begin a tutorials program to review the subject contents and practices for the schedule set in the second quarter of the present academic year.
Return to classroom attendance will begin on Monday, June 22nd.
In this way, UNEATLANTICO maintains its commitment to recover its face-to-face format as soon as possible and, in the event that the de-escalation is regulated in an even less restrictive manner, academic authorities do not rule out moving the calendar forward, with sufficient heads-up provided to the students.
