The European University of the Atlantic receives the visit of the French academic institution IUT Bordeaux Montaigne

Students from IUT Bordeaux Montaigne visit the facilities of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) and are welcomed by Ana Visiers, academic director of the degrees in Audiovisual Communication (CA), Journalism (PER) and Advertising and Public Relations (PRP); Leticia Diaz, member of the International Relations Office (ORI); and the teacher Michelle Moreira.

Nayra Vacaflor, PhD in Communication and academic coordinator of the program in Editorial and Digital Communication at IUT Bordeaux Montaigne, together with Quiterie Dubosq, Erasmus responsible of that institution, accompanied the 12 students during the visit to UNEATLANTICO.
The purpose of this meeting has been the presentation that students from both institutions have made during the academic year. These were, in the case of UNEATLANTICO, the production of a student newspaper and various audiovisual projects.
Likewise, both institutions have shared pedagogical experiences such as the combination of theoretical and practical training. In addition, they held a debate focused on how to take advantage of the geographical proximity of both cities – Bordeaux and Santander – to establish joint activities or projects, as well as short and long term mobilities under the umbrella of the Erasmus program, available for students and teachers.
Finally, the visitors were taken on a tour of the university where they visited the television set, which also has booths for consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, the radio room, the exhibition hall and the assembly hall.
