The AMPROS Foundation recognizes UNEATLANTICO for promoting inclusion and equal opportunities

The AMPROS Foundation, at a gala held on the occasion of its 60th anniversary, has recognized the European Atlantic University  (UNEATLANTICO) for promoting inclusion, Equal opportunities and improved quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities and development.

The AMPROS Foundation is a foundation that focuses on contributing to improving the quality of life of each person with intellectual disability or development. This year they celebrated their 60th anniversary and paid tribute to both their history and the institutions that have been part of it. Therefore, they have decided to recognize UNEATLANTICO for its extensive trust and joint effort over the years.

Rubén Calderón, rector of UNEATLANTICO, attended on behalf of the university to collect the AMPROS prize. This recognition is the result of technical support in agro-food processing processes and the involvement of the university in disseminating knowledge about disability among its students, as well as presenting its commitment to the AMPROS ecosocial project. During the delivery, the rector congratulated AMPROS on its sixtieth anniversary, and also stressed that “they are a foundation that contributes to improving people’s lives, and in that sense they are twinned”. He also reiterated the commitment of the university as a Cantabrian foundation that seeks to contribute to the integral training and development of people.

This recognition not only highlights the work done, but also the human link that unites AMPROS and UNEATLANTICO. Beyond the projects and collaborations, both institutions share the same intention: to support people and make it easier for each one to develop their lives with greater opportunities.
