Students of the degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE) of UNEATLANTICO have attended the Social Courts of Santander as part of the subject of Labour Law, under the guidance of the teacher María Belén Alonso.
In this activity they have learned first-hand how trials work and the practical application of everything that has been explained to them in class throughout the term, through topics such as the general principles of law.
Through explanations by the Social Court Judge Number Four of Santander, they have understood how to claim and discuss in court a request for a functional supplement for risk and danger, how to claim overtime in a special employment relationship such as a domestic employee, the claim for maternity allowance, and finally, the analysis of an ERTE for economic causes, nullity of its processing, evidence for qualification of group of companies and companies declared in bankruptcy proceedings.
It should be noted that UNEATLANTICO teachers promote this type of off-campus activities for the integral development of students, who thus learn first-hand about professional and working environments.
