The students of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic) (UNEATLANTICO) belonging to the degrees in Audiovisual Communication (CA), Advertising and Public Relations (PRP) and Journalism (PER), Brenda Martínez, Gissella Torres, María Fernanda Pazmiño, Ilse Mercado, Leonor Laso and Daniela Esteban broadcast the first episode of their program «6 voices, 1 world» on radio Arco FM.
The name «6 voices, 1 world» was born in relation to the theme of the program and reflects the diversity and internationalization of the group, made up of members from Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Spain. The participants, despite coming from different countries, share similar experiences that bring their voices together on a common path.
The purpose of the program is to explore the lives of international students, from personal aspects such as adaptation, friendships and cultural clashes, to career and job prospects. Each episode will be narrated from the personal gaze of the students with the aim that the listeners, in this case students, can feel identified and empathize with the stories and testimonies.
«6 voices, 1 world» will be broadcast every Friday at 6 pm on Arco FM. The first episodes will be recorded in UNEATLANTICO’s radio studio and then broadcast live on Arco FM.
Thanks to this experience, the students will continue to expand their knowledge of the components of communication as well as the operation of radio and live broadcasts. They are excited and grateful for the opportunity to carry out this project and develop their skills in a professional environment.
UNEATLANTICO and Arco FM continue one more year offering students of the degrees in Communication the opportunity to put into practice the skills acquired in the career and get closer to the reality of the professional sector.
