The students of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (Universidad Europea del Atlántico, UNEATLANTICO), Daniela Esteban from the degree in Journalism (PER), Brenda Martínez and Gissella Torres from the degree in Audiovisual Communication (CA), María Fernanda Pazmiño, Ilse Mercado, and Leonor Laso from the degree in Advertising and Public Relations (PRP) broadcast live on Arco FM radio their program “6 voices 1 world”.
This radio program is a project created by the students and in which they have been working for more than one quarter, first recording the episodes at UNEATLANTICO Radio’s facilities and then making the move to make the live broadcast on Arco FM.
The name “6 voices, 1 world” comes from the six voices that make up this program. Being international students from different parts of the world, they meet to discuss global issues that all have experienced or know firsthand. Each week addresses a different topic, not only related to the experience of being an international student, but also exploring various cultural themes such as cinema, public opinion, economics, advertising, psychology and friendships, always from a perspective close and directed to the current youth.
The program started its broadcast on 24 October until 13 February at 6:00 pm via Arco FM. Thanks to this initiative, the students had the opportunity to delve into the world of radio and live a professional experience, in which exposure skills, research and improvisation are developed. In addition, he sought to inform, accompany and support any young people who might feel identified with the issues addressed.

In search of connecting the theory, practice and reality of the sector, students of degrees in Communication at UNEATLANTICO actively participate and collaborate in projects related to media. In the case of Arco FM, it is worth highlighting the live broadcast of this program as well as «Zeero to Hero» el año pasado o «Cuatro en raya» en el curso 2019-2020.
