The students of the degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CAFYD) of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) made some educational visits to different sports centers, in order to complement their training within the framework of the subject “New Trends in Fitness and Wellness”.
Adrián Rodríguez and Florent Osmani, teachers of UNEATLANTICO, accompanied the 3rd year students in their visit to Ability Room Santander and Training Lab. During the visit, they were able to learn about the facilities of the places and the different services offered by the sports centers. Both centers have agreements with UNEATLANTICO and allow students from the university to do their internships in their facilities. In addition, university graduates have been successfully incorporated into the labor market at the sports centers.
CAFYD students also had the opportunity to meet and interact with professionals from the centers, who shared their experiences and knowledge with them. These visits provided a closer encounter with new trends and developments in the sports field, as well as establishing contacts for their professional future.
Ability Room specializes in training, physical-sports rehabilitation, movement education and physiotherapy. It uses principles based on research and scientific evidence and movement control.
