The rector of the European University of the Atlantic, Rubén Calderón, has again visited the new campus of the International University of Kwanza (UNIC) located in the city of Cuito (Bié). The purpose of the visit was to strengthen relations between these two institutions of higher education.
In this regard, it is worth mentioning the existing framework agreement between UNEATLANTICO and UNIC, which addresses specific projects in areas of common interest and enhances mutual relations of academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation, as well as the exchange of professors, researchers and students, publications, academic programs, and research projects.
This is why the International University of Cuanza and the European University of the Atlantic are committed to a double degree program that facilitates the integration of students in different cultures and university environments, allowing them to improve their language skills as well as their employability in an increasingly competitive and international professional market.
Thus, UNIC students enrolled in degree programs will be able to complete their studies in Spain through the validation of credits taken in Angola and will receive a second Spanish degree in the subject, with all the requirements demanded by the programs administered by the European Union. All this, through a stay at UNEATLANTICO of a year and a half in which students are accommodated at the University Residence.
During his visit to UNIC, Rubén Calderón, as a member of the sponsorship of the Eurofrican University Foundation, promoter of the International University of Cuanza, held meetings with the government of Bié, the University’s management, while visiting the entire structure.
