The “On Creación II Edición” program is an initiative of the Centro Botín (Botín Center) with the sponsorship of the EDP Foundation that demonstrates that art is the best instrument for developing emotions and creativity. It also represents an opportunity for the students of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) who want to develop artistic creation projects with open subject.
The “On Creación II Edición” program of the Centro Botín has arrived at UNEATLANTICO with the aim of inspiring students to develop creative projects. The presentation of the project and its bases has been carried out in the University’s auditorium by Carolina García Ribes, who is part of the creativity department of the Centro Botín. The talk, which was attended by the teacher and head of the Cultural Extension area, Helena Garay, together with the first year students of the degrees in Audiovisual Communication, Journalism, and Advertising and Public Relations, emphasized the importance of using art as a tool to cultivate emotions and foster creativity.
Centro Botín offers university students the opportunity to participate in the second edition of the program. This project provides training and accompaniment through the arts for the development of open theme projects. In this way, the expression of concerns and interests of young university students is allowed.
From Cultural Extension, all UNEATLANTICO students are encouraged to participate in this program that seeks that young people learn through proposals carried out outside the classroom.
The program will be developed throughout the first semester of 2024, with a total of 40 hours, in addition to the individual work of each group. The deadline for completing the application form on the website is February 19, 2024. The selected groups will be announced on February 29.
