The (Universidad Europea del Atlantico) (European Atlantic University) (UNEATLANTICO) is pleased to highlight the academic achievement of Olga Beltrán Hernández, alumna of the Master in Business Administration (MBA) from UNEATLANTICO and FUNIBER, was selected to participate as a speaker at the XIV Esteban Hernández Esteve International Meeting on the History of Accounting held in Cadiz, Spain.
His article, entitled «The evolution of accounting and its impact on business administration: a historical and functional analysis in Colombia», was approved by the organizing committee of the event, led by the Spanish Association of Accountancy and Business Administration (AECA). This research offers an in-depth look at the transformation of accounting over time and its influence on business management in the Colombian context.
The meeting took place on the campus of the University of Cádiz (UCA) and was organized by its Department of Financial Economics and Accounting. During his presentation, Beltrán shared his findings with international academics, researchers and specialists in history and accounting theory.
The article will be part of the official memoirs of the event and will be published in a journal with ISBN registration, which represents an important recognition of his investigative contribution and a relevant contribution to the study of accounting in the country.
