Mónica San José, co-founder of Retail EScool, takes part in the ‘What now?’ conference on employability and entrepreneurship organised by UNEATLANTICO.

The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) has organised a new session of the employability and entrepreneurship conference with the collaboration of the Innovation and Development Foundation (FIDBAN). This day was attended by the law graduate and co-founder of Retail EScool Monica San José, who shared with the students of UNEATLANTICO the course of her 30 years of professional experience at national and international level and the trajectory during her new stage in the world of entrepreneurship.

Monica San José is an expert in sales channel growth and development who started her professional journey at Sephora and later held various positions of responsibility, including Vice President of sales for EMEA at Kontoor Brands in Geneva. During the talk she shared how her leadership, based on a positive and proactive attitude, has accompanied her through her university years, her corporate career and now also as a self-employed entrepreneur.

On the other hand, Monica highlights the importance of continuous learning to explore new areas of knowledge, making curiosity and the challenge of overcoming current limits her main pillars of inspiration to develop her third professional stage in which she is currently building Retail EScool, a virtual campus aimed at training retail professionals, from its beginnings at the point of sale.

Retail EScool is the result of a professional journey full of experiences and personal growth within the most renowned companies worldwide, being a clear example of perseverance to achieve the proposed goals despite the bumps in the road. Monica invites all those who are looking to start their own ventures to venture out, to build their own authentic legacy, highlighting the knowledge acquired during years of professional practice; the message is clear: to be an entrepreneur you only need to start.

The employment days ‘What now?’ provide UNEATLANTICO students with success stories and knowledge about employability and professional development. This event aims to motivate attendees and offer them practical tools and recommendations to face the challenges of the current labour market.
