The sub-delegate of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) and student of the degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Mario Villoria, attends the celebration of the CEUNE Plenary on behalf of the University.
The event took place at the Illustrious Official College of Doctors of Madrid. Within this, a variety of topics related to the regulation of artificial intelligence within education were discussed, looking at its current impact and changes to improve education in the future. In addition, the implementation of the Galician language in universities or mobility problems in the autonomous communities were discussed.
They also voted on motions proposed to the Ministry, such as encouraging concern for mental health in universities, as well as normalizing this issue among students and seeking help from mental health professionals.
Also, the request to speed up the drafting of the Student Statute was taken up again, as well as the request to abolish the obligation to pay interest in the case of having to reimburse the MEFPD scholarship. In addition to this, the members of the new Permanent Committee of Representatives that will be in effect for the next two years were voted in.
In conclusion, the event served as a space to address issues of interest around education and vote on proposals of the ministry around this and discuss about the implementation of new logistics in universities and educational systems in order to improve the functioning of these.
